Aloha, I am Lanea from Atlantic Beach, Florida. I grew up watching surfing. My family is always boating, sailing, surfing and traveling and  I decided I wanted to start surfing and competing in the summer of 2018. I love surfing and everything about it. Some of my favorite things about surfing are exploring new waves, working on my technique, heat and competition strategy, learning more about my equipment, giving back to my community, surfing with my family,  and making new friends all over the world as I travel. I love everything from local breaks to pipeline, wave pools, Indo and everything in between.

When I was 10 I ran my own first surf contesting my local community of Jacksonville Florida.  In 2024, I was awarded the Lanea Mons day by the our Mayor Donna for my leadership as a female surfer.  

My dad grew up on the North Shore of Kauai and I have spent my whole life traveling there every year.  I love to travel and surf new breaks and I love to travel to California to hang out with all my friends. 

I am an Honors Straight A student through FLVS. My hobbies outside surfing include playing the ukulele and guitar, all kinds of sports, baking, classic cars, working out and hanging with my dog.
